Liposuction in South Florida

There are a few different types of liposuction our doctors can perform. First, we will ask you questions about your health, desired outcome, and which areas of the body you want to target.

• Suction-assisted liposuction: Your doctor will make small cuts in your skin, then use a thin tube to suction fat and fluid from the target area.
• Ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL): This kind of liposuction involves the doctor using a metal rod to break down fat. The metal rod emits energy under the skin, allowing fat to break down for easier removal.

• Laser-assisted liposuction (LAL): The doctor uses a laser fiber to break down fat deposits. Then, fat is removed from the body using a thin tube inserted through small incisions.
• Power-assisted liposuction (PAL): A thin tube creates vibrating motions under the skin, allowing fat to be removed easier and faster. This method is sometimes known to be more precise.

Before starting with any of these liposuction methods, we will make sure you feel comfortable and prepared for the procedure. Then, we’ll use numbing medicines or anesthesia to help you avoid feeling pain during the surgery.
